Children & Worship

Children and their formation are important to the people of St. Ann's. We include children as full members of the congregation in all respects, with deliberate attention given to children’s progressive participation in the liturgy.

Children are welcome to receive Holy Communion along with adults.  If you desire instruction for yourself or your child, just ask one of the clergy. Parents with young children are invited to sit in the front pews, where there is a small table and chairs for children. Episcopal worship is a visual as much as a spoken experience, and it helps children to see the action of the priest and altar attendants. Coloring sheets are available on the table, and don't fret about a little squirming!
